Our commitment
GoldenTech KSA is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to this website and the documents we publish on it.
Conformance target
Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. We believe this website substantially conforms to that standard; where we identify areas that do not, we prioritize fixing them. This website has not yet been formally audited against WCAG 2.1 AA; we review accessibility internally as changes are made.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, landmarks, and a "skip to main content" link on every page
- All functionality (navigation, accordions, and forms) operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators
- Form fields with programmatic labels, required-field indicators, and error messages announced to screen readers
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds the AA ratio for text and interface components, and information never conveyed by color alone
- Responsive layouts that reflow at 400% zoom and on small screens without horizontal scrolling
- Respect for the user's reduced-motion preference, with animations disabled where requested
- Accessibility checks included in our development and content review process, and periodic testing with screen readers and automated tools
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include: embedded third-party maps and documents supplied by manufacturers, which may not meet our standards; and PDF datasheets or older documents that have not been remediated. Where an item is not accessible, contact us and we will provide the information in an alternative format.
Compatibility
This website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and with common assistive technologies including screen readers, screen magnifiers, and speech-recognition software. It may not display correctly in browsers that are no longer supported by their vendors.
